Banji Fehintola
'Banji Fehintola, CFA

Mr. Banji Fehintola is Chairman of Quant Investment Managers Board of directors. He provides strategic guidance and oversight for the company's business activities.

Mr. Banji is also the senior director and head of Treasury and Financial Institutions at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and the current President of the CFA Society of Nigeria. Prior to his current endeavours, he worked with Citibank Nigeria Limited in role covering currency trading and derivative sales and marketing. Prior to this, he worked as an accountant at Arthur Andersen LLP (now KPMG Professional Services Limited).

Mr. Banji Fehintola holds a bachelor's degree in economics with First Class honours from the University of Ibadan and a master's degree of philosophy in internation finance from the University of Glasgow. He is a CFA Charterholder and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Olaniyi Ogunbayo
Olaniyi Remilekun Ogunbayo, CFA
(Managing Director)

Mr. Olaniyi Ogunbayo is the Chief Executive Officer of Quant Investment Managers Limited. He has over a decade’s professional experience covering financial advisory, investment research and strategy, financial modelling, portfolio management, and securities trading having worked with top Nigerian banks and investment firms.
Mr. Olaniyi currently serves as an independent member of the investment committee for Meristem Money Market Fund (MMMF).

Prior to his current endeavours, Olaniyi worked as the CEO/MD of Affiniti Capital Management Limited – a boutique proprietary trading firm with primary focus on fixed income securities and currency hedge products. Before this, Olaniyi worked as the pioneer Head of Fixed Income Trading Desk at CardinalStone Partners, where he was primarily responsible for setting up and managing the firm’s fixed income trading business. He also worked as a Bond Strategist/Trader in the treasury department of Bank PHB Plc and was a senior financial analyst/portfolio manager at PHB Asset Management Limited, where he initiated coverage reports on top 15 banks in Nigeria and later acted as portfolio manager – fixed income securities. He also worked with the strategy and financial modelling division of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, where he was primarily responsible for developing financial planning and pricing models for various subsidiaries of the Bank. He began his professional career at Meristem Securities Limited (a Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) where he assumed the role of an equity research/corporate finance analyst and played a vital role in packaging equity capital raising for FTN Cocoa Plc and Fidson Healthcare Plc.

Olaniyi holds certifications in Mathematics for Financial Engineers, Statistics for Financial Engineers and C++ Programming for Financial Engineering from University of California, United States. He is also a First-Class Graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU); an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN); an Associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) United Kingdom; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS); an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange; a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) United States; and a CFA Charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute United States.

Julius Omodayo-Owotuga
Julius B. Omodayo-Owotuga, FCA, CFA

Mr. Julius B. Omodayo-Owotuga (JB) is the Group Executive Director, Finance & Risk Management of Forte Oil Plc. He is a CFA Charter Holder and a KPMG trained fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Before joining Forte Oil Group, he was at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) where he had responsibilities for the Corporation’s Assets and Liabilities Management function and also deputized for the Treasurer. The AFC is a US$1bn private sector led Development Finance and Investment Bank with focus on infrastructure development on the African continent. Prior to this, he had held the role of Finance Manager in the same Corporation. In this role, Mr. Omodayo-Owotuga set up the Financial Control function of the institution. He was also responsible for some aspects of Human Resources and Administration functions at the Corporation's start up stage in 2007.

Mr. Omodayo-Owotuga joined the AFC from Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited where he was a Finance Manager. Before this, he was at KPMG Professional Services where he led assurance engagements within the Nigerian financial services industry. He also consulted for a number of Institutions on IFRS and Risk Management while at KPMG Professional Services. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Omodayo-Owotuga worked in the Foreign Operations Group of MBC International Bank (now First Bank of Nigeria Limited).

He is also an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a Chartered Management Accountant and a Fellow of the institute of Credit Administration. JB has attended senior management and leadership programs at Harvard Business School and other top global business schools. He holds a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Lagos.

Olawale Ogunbayo
Olawale Omotola Ogunbayo

Mr. Olawale Ogunbayo is an Executive Director of Quant Investment Managers Limited, responsible for the overall financial and risk management of the company. Prior to this, Olawale served as the Chief Financial Officer of Affiniti Capital Management Limited (a boutique proprietary trading firm) and the Chief Financial Officer of Novo Health Africa (a Health Maintenance Organisation) where he was responsible for designing, setting up and managing the Company’s accounting and financial reporting system based on global best practices.

Prior to joining Novo Health Africa, Olawale worked as an Accountant at African Legend Indigo Limited – a South African Company responsible for developing and managing Information Technology Platforms for major Telecommunications Companies in Nigeria – where he was responsible for keeping the Company’s financial records as well as preparing financial reports for internal and external purposes.

Olawale holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from University of Ilorin and an MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Finance & Control of Nigeria (CIFCN).
