Olaniyi Remilekun Ogunbayo, CFA
(Chief Executive Officer/Co-Chief Investment Officer)

Mr. Olaniyi Ogunbayo is the Chief Executive Officer of Quant Investment Managers Limited. He has over a decade’s professional experience covering financial advisory, investment research and strategy, financial modelling, portfolio management, and securities trading having worked with top Nigerian banks and investment firms.
Mr. Olaniyi currently serves as an independent member of the investment committee for Meristem Money Market Fund (MMMF).

Prior to his current endeavours, Olaniyi worked as the CEO/MD of Affiniti Capital Management Limited – a boutique proprietary trading firm with primary focus on fixed income securities and currency hedge products. Before this, Olaniyi worked as the pioneer Head of Fixed Income Trading Desk at CardinalStone Partners, where he was primarily responsible for setting up and managing the firm’s fixed income trading business. He also worked as a Bond Strategist/Trader in the treasury department of Bank PHB Plc and was a senior financial analyst/portfolio manager at PHB Asset Management Limited, where he initiated coverage reports on top 15 banks in Nigeria and later acted as portfolio manager – fixed income securities. He also worked with the strategy and financial modelling division of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, where he was primarily responsible for developing financial planning and pricing models for various subsidiaries of the Bank. He began his professional career at Meristem Securities Limited (a Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) where he assumed the role of an equity research/corporate finance analyst and played a vital role in packaging equity capital raising for FTN Cocoa Plc and Fidson Healthcare Plc.

Olaniyi holds certifications in Mathematics for Financial Engineers, Statistics for Financial Engineers and C++ Programming for Financial Engineering from University of California, United States. He is also a First-Class Graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU); an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN); an Associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) United Kingdom; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS); an Authorised Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange; a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) United States; and a CFA Charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute United States.

David Ademola Adeoye
David Ademola Adeoye, CFA
(Co-Chief Investment Officer)

Mr. David Adeoye is a Co-Chief Investment Officer of Quant Investment Management Limited. He has over 18 years of professional experience in investment banking and management consulting with competencies in corporate finance, project finance and strategic advisory.

Prior to joining Quant Investment Managers Limited, David worked as a director and practice lead at Fritova Partners where he advised on over 25 client projects and transactions in energy and natural resources, transport, technology, healthcare, real- estate, hospitality and financial services.

Prior to joining Fritova Partners, David had worked with Phillips Consulting, Accenture, Polaris Bank Limited, and MBC Capital Limited. He was also a senior manager in the transaction advisory services team of Ernst & Young.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a certified energy risk professional (ERP).

Olawale Omotola Ogunbayo

Mr. Olawale Ogunbayo is an Executive Director of Quant Investment Managers Limited, responsible for the overall financial and risk management of the company. Prior to this, Olawale served as the Chief Financial Officer of Affiniti Capital Management Limited (a boutique proprietary trading firm) and the Chief Financial Officer of Novo Health Africa (a Health Maintenance Organisation) where he was responsible for designing, setting up and managing the Company’s accounting and financial reporting system based on global best practices.

Prior to joining Novo Health Africa, Olawale worked as an Accountant at African Legend Indigo Limited – a South African Company responsible for developing and managing Information Technology Platforms for major Telecommunications Companies in Nigeria – where he was responsible for keeping the Company’s financial records as well as preparing financial reports for internal and external purposes.

Olawale holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from University of Ilorin and an MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Finance & Control of Nigeria (CIFCN).

Ibukunoluwa Hannah Toluwase

Mrs. Ibukunoluwa Toluwase is the Chief Operating Officer of Quant Investment Managers Limited. Known as IBK by friends and colleagues, she is a business, finance and investment management professional with more than a decade of experience.

Ibukun is adept with working with and through people to achieve set objectives. Her passion for business development, operations management and end-to-end business management has increased her referrals over the years. She rode on this cloud to work with small businesses to regain stability after the pandemic hit in 2020.

Prior to her current employment with Quant Investment Managers Limited, she previously served as a client relationship officer with Zenith Bank Plc in the early years of her career, and as Team Lead, investment advisor for High-Net-Worth Individuals with Meristem Securities Limited. In 2014, she joined the Zinox Group as an investment manager and head, wealth creation for the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation.

During her time with the Zinox Group, she front-lined seamless engagements with public sector and private clients in different capacities for the growth of the organization. She supported the promotion of viable enterprise development in Nigeria, Ghana and UAE that was aimed at increasing market share and reducing credit exposure for the organization. She resigned from the Zinox Group after almost six years of working in various capacities of implementing new investible ideas across industries such as the retail business (online and offline), IT services, FMCG, non-profit and media & entertainment.

Ibukun, who considers herself a perpetual scholar, is a firm believer in adding value through knowledge and she has attended many training programs both locally and internationally. She holds a Master’s Degree in economics (Distinction) from University of Lagos, Nigeria and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.

Babajide Olumide Adetola, (ACS, ACA, ACTI)
(Chief Compliance Officer)

Mr. Babajide Adetola is the Chief Compliance Officer of Quant Investment Managers Limited. He has over a decade experience in finance & financial control, IFRS conversion, internal & external audit that cuts across oil and gas, telecommunication, financial services, banking and assurance services.

Before joining Quant Investment Managers Ltd, Babajide was a director in charge of audit, tax and assurance services in HLB Nigeria, one of the renowned international networks of chartered accountants with headquarters in the UK. He had a brief stint as the group head finance at Zedcrest Capital. He was also part of IFRS Conversion and Advisory Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Nigeria as a senior associate and rose to the position of an assistant manager before his resignation where he handled a number of multinational financial reporting and audit related engagements. Babajide was once the deputy financial controller in Abbey Mortgage Bank and regional internal auditor in the Intercontinental Securities Limited – one of the subsidiaries of Intercontinental Bank Group (acquired as part of Access Bank Plc).

He was in the top 10 of his graduating class of Accounting from the University of Lagos (UNILAG); an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN),The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) of Nigeria and The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
